The 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM / Annual General Meeting) of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) was held at Birla Matushree Auditorium, Mumbai. RIL Chairman and CMD Mukesh Ambani while addressing the shareholders of the company said that Jio GigaFiber will be launched on 5 September. Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance will mold itself into a new form.

Startup will get free live cloud service. The service will start from 1 January 2020. Provide financial assistance to startups focused on agriculture, health, education and skill development. Jio Fiber Welcome Offer, HD / 4K Television and 4K SetTop Box Free will be available for the year. Geo Connectivity service will be provided to Small and Medium Enterprises at Rs. 1500 per month.
Landline phone will be free with broadband, speed up to 1 Gbps, free set top box will be available. You will get 4K video support as well as a partnership with all cable operators in the country for Jio GigaFiber broadband.

It is a high speed internet service through which apart from internet, you can also get the facility of calling, TV, DTH. Up to 40 devices can be connected simultaneously over a connection of Geo Giga Fiber. During the trial, customers are being given data at a speed of 100 Mbps. For this, the company is taking 4500 rupees as security.The annual general meeting is also attended by wife Neeta Ambani, Mukesh Ambani's mother Kokilaben Ambani, Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani, Akash Ambani's wife Shloka.
Making phone calls anywhere across the country with Jio Fiber fixed line will be free for life:
- Internet speeds from 100 Mbps (mega bits per second) to 1,000 Mbps will be available on Jio Fiber. It will be priced from Rs 700 to Rs 10,000 monthly
- Mukesh Ambani said that 26,379 crores was given as custom and excise duty. Reliance Group paid 67,320 crore GST last year. The company paid income tax of Rs 12,191 crore.
- On PM Modi's dream of building a $ 5 billion economy of India, Mukesh Ambani said that India is moving towards becoming a $ 10,000 billion economy by 2030.
- Saudi Aramco to buy 20 percent stake in Reliance's oil to chemical business, to invest $ 75 billion. Ambani said that Saudi Aramco will supply 5,00,000 barrels of crude oil per day to Reliance's refineries after purchasing stake
- Reliance will get Rs 7,000 crore from selling 49 per cent stake in its fuel retail business to UK's BP
- Ambani said that the Oil to Chemical business achieved revenue of Rs 5.7 lakh crore.
Today, Jio is the world's largest telecom company by subscriber, profit and revenue. Ambani said that Reliance is playing a big role for Digital India. Data has been shining as Shining India since coming to Jio.
- Mukesh Abani while addressing the shareholders said that every month one crore new customers are joining with Reliance Jio. An investment of Rs 3.5 lakh crore has been made so far in Jio. Reliance Jio is already ready for the 5G network and we are fully ready to launch the first 5G service in the country.
- Mukesh Abani said that the IoT platform will also start from 1 January 2020. In the next two years, 2 billion IoT devices will be in India. Jio Giga Fiber is going to provide many smart features to customers. 1.5 million registrations of Jio GigaFiber have been done in 1600 cities, they will complete the laying of Jio Fiber in the next 12 months.
- Mukesh Abani said that we are bringing four new things for connectivity revenue. Home broadband service, enterprises will focus on broadband service, broadband service for SME and Internet of Things (IoT). The period of investment in Jio has been completed, we will take it to a new height.
- Giga fiber will reach across the country in a year. Ambani announced a nationwide Internet of Things, broadband for homes and businesses and broadband service for small enterprises.
